The evolution e 908 instrument microphone is available in four variants:
as e 908 D for drums and percussion
as e 908 B for wind instruments, congas, and drums with free-floating suspension system
as e 908 B ew for the wireless miking of saxophones using an evolution wireless instrument transmitter
as e 908 T ew for the wireless miking of trumpets using an evolution wireless instrument transmitter

e 908 B The e 908 B condenser instrument microphone was specially designed for brass instruments. Comes with multifunctional MZH 908 B horn clamp. e 908 B ew Wireless version of the e 908 B, without phantom power adaptor, for use with any evolution wireless bodypack/instrument transmitter. The e 908 B ew has been designed for saxophones. For miking trumpets, trombones and flugelhorns, we would recommend using the e 908 T ew, which has a lower sensitivity. e 908 D The e 908 D condenser instrument microphone was specially designed for drums and percussion. Comes with multifunctional MZH 908 D drum clamp. e 908 T ew Wireless version of the e 908, developed for trumpets, trombones and flugelhorns. The e 908 T ew can be used with any evolution wireless bodypack/instrument transmitter. For turning the e 908 T ew into a wired mic, please use the MZA 900 P phantom power adaptor (needs to be ordered separately).
